Admitted Student Days
Admitted Student Days (ASD) are just what they sound like. They are days that campuses put on to show prospective students what they are all about. Prospective students are more than welcome to visit campuses whenever they can schedule a visit, but admitted student events are organized to show off the best of the schools.
I have scheduled my first admitted students day. It seems that almost every school has their admitted student days in March (which means at some point soon I am going to have to prioritize what schools I really want to visit) but luckily one of my schools has their first admitted students day in February.
So yay, in just under two weeks I will be visiting Rutgers Law for their first admitted students day. This is so important to me because I truly want to get a sense of the vibe of a school. While rankings and scholarships matter, I have to feel comfortable at a school.
So plane tickets booked and so is hotel. On Thursday, February 1 I will be leaving work a little early to catch a flight to visit my first law school. Excited and nervous.
Side note, it’s Monday. Let’s see if I get any good news this week. Oh let the stress of waiting on decisions begin again.
