What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

I debated this post title or “At least I didn’t die”. But I survived today.

Over the summer I decided that I needed to work on getting back in shape and start running like I did in 2019. Ups and downs in personal life, but I didn’t train as much as I wanted to. But I had already registered for the Hot Chocolate 15k.

Today was the day. It was rough. Around mile 6 I felt the blisters growing blisters on both feet.  

But I finished. I did it!!! And thank god for my friend who drove hours to come run this race with me (sort of, she ended up being a pacer also) and even came back for me after she finished the race to finish the last mile with me.

Hopefully I can use running and working out as a stress relief once I start law school. If I survived today without near the amount of training I wanted, I can do anything.
